The honey-coloured sandstone house has been recently refurbished, although retaining many original features. The ground floor features stone floors and exposed sandstone pillars as well as an imposing closed fireplace and original beams. There is a separate ground floor WC with handbasin.

The kitchen is well equipped to provide everything you need for your self catering holiday and to recreate French-style home-cooked food, or to serve up freshly brewed coffee and butter-rich croissants with jam.

Enjoy your meals inside at the family-sized dining table, or while experiencing the lovely views outside.

Upstairs, a wide corridor leads to the three airy, comfortable bedrooms, with wooden floors, high ceilings and original beams. Each is furnished with comfortable beds, hanging and drawer space. The bedrooms have views of the valley and the forests beyond. There is a modern, bright shower room with walk-in shower, twin basins, heated towel rail and WC.

The bedrooms face east, so you can choose whether to wake watching the sunrise, or to draw your curtains and enjoy a long lie-in. For the most active, start the day with a sun-salutation yoga session on the lawn, or a fresh dip in the pool.

The garden provides ample space and facilities for outside dining and relaxing, with lovely views over the village, chateau and surrounding countryside.  Pots of herbs and a citrus tree are available for your use.

As the sun makes its daily journey across the sky, there are various garden spaces in which to enjoy the sun or the shade.  

And at the end of the day, there is nothing quite like watching the sunset reflected on the chateau and the opposite hilltop, while enjoying a glass of wine. 

The swimming pool and raised sundeck enjoy day-long sun and are available for you to enjoy during your stay (Summer months).
